1. A Career Counselling Session was organized by Law Training and Placement Cell, IIMT on 29th August, 2022 on the topic ‘Preparation Strategies for Judicial Services’. Ms. Divya Sharma, Civil Judge, Class – II, Madhya Pradesh graced the event as the keynote speaker.

2. A Workshop was organized by Ideal Law Society on 8th September, 2022 on the topic ‘Enhancement of Research Skills using Digital Platform, SCC Online’. Mr. Chetan Singh Gill, Sr. Manager, Learning Centre graced the event as the keynote speaker. Mr. Mohit Singh and Mr. Prabat (Trainers) accompanied the speaker for providing technical support during the event.

3. IIMT in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority organized Rakesh Aggarwal Memorial Online National Debate Competition on 22nd – 23rd September, 2022 on the topic ‘Legal Implications of Abortion Laws: Pro-Life v. Pro-Choice’. The Inaugural and Valedictory Sessions were graced by the auspicious presence of Prof. (Dr.) Viney Kapoor, Former Vice-Chancellor, B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Tarun Kumar Kaushal, Former Judge, M.P. High Court respectively.

4. A Seminar was organized by Ideal Law Society on 13th October, 2022 on the topic ‘Preamble: Soul of the Indian Constitution’. Prof. (Dr.) Janardhan Upadhayay graced the event as the keynote speaker.

5. An Awareness Programme was organized by IIMT in collaboration with Delhi State Legal Services Authority on 14th October, 2022 on the topic ‘Cybercrime, Safe Cyber Practices and Legal Remedies (via Video Conference) and the Sexual Harrasment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013’. Sh. Pranat Kumar Joshi, Ld. Secretary, DLSA (Shahadara) graced the event as its Distinguished Guest, and the keynote speakers for the day were Prof. (Dr.) Ritu Gupta, National Law University, Delhi and Dr. Pawan Duggal, Advocate, Supreme Court of India.

6. Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India in association with NGO – Anugrah and Legal Aid Clinic, IIMT organized a Seminar on 18th October, 2022 on the topic ‘Inter-Generational Bonding and Safeguarding of Human Rights’. Ms. Pranjal Patil, IAS, DM/DC graced the event as its Chief Guest. Sh. Pranat Joshi, Ld. Secretary, DLSA (Shahadara); Prof. (Dr.) Arun Gupta, Principal, School of Law and Dr. Abha Chaudhary, Founder, NGO Anugrah were also present as the distinguished guests for the event.

7. School of Law, IIMT organized a Legal Quiz to Commemorate the Indian Constitutional Day on 25th November, 2022. The session was chaired by the Principal, School of Law – Prof. (Dr.) Arun Gupta and Vice-Principal, School of Law – Prof. (Dr.) Hemlata Sharma.

8. School of Law, IIMT Re-established the Kartavya Corner in its Library, and organized a Poster Making Session to Commemorate the Indian Constitutional Day on 26th November, 2022. The session was chaired by the Principal, School of Law – Prof. (Dr.) Arun Gupta and Vice-Principal, School of Law – Prof. (Dr.) Hemlata Sharma.

9. School of Law, IIMT organized an Orientation Programme on 1st December, 2022. The session was chaired by the Principal, School of Law – Prof. (Dr.) Arun Gupta and Vice-Principal, School of Law – Prof. (Dr.) Hemlata Sharma.

10. Ideal Law Society on 12th December, 2022 organized a Human Rights Awareness Programme to Commemorate International Human Rights Day. The theme for the programme was ‘Dignity, Freedom and Justice for All’. The session was chaired by the Vice-Principal, School of Law – Prof. (Dr.) Hemlata Sharma.

11. Ideal Law Society on 16th December, 2022 organized an Ideal Congressional Townhall Intra-Debate Competition on the topic ‘Youth and Taboo – First Edition: Let’s Talk the Untalked’. The event was chaired by Prof. (Dr.) Anil Parkash Sharma, Director, IIMT along with Dr. Vineeta Sharma, Principal, BBA (1st Shift), Prof. (Dr.) Arun Gupta, Principal, School of Law and Prof. (Dr.) Hemlata Sharma, Vice-Principal, School of Law.

12. School of Law, IIMT organized Rakesh Aggarwal Memorial National Law Conference on 21st January, 2023 on the topic ‘Concepts and Perspectives for Integration of Intellectual Property Laws and Human Rights’. The Inauguration of the Conference saw the presence of one of the colossal personalities of the legal field the Hon’ble Mr. Justice C. Harishankar, Judge, High Court of Delhi. The Round Table Discussion on the conference theme was also organized, and the esteemed panelists present were Prof. (Dr.) Gunjan Gupta, Professor, Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi; Mr. Rahul Bajaj, Senior Associate Fellow, Vidhi Partnerships; Mr. Aditya Rastogi and Mr. K.P Sivaramakrishnan both advocates and experts in the field of Intellectual Property.

13. Law Training and Placement Cell, IIMT organized a Workshop on 27th February, 2023 on the topic ‘Advancing Legal Research Acumen in Dissertation Writing and Lawyering Skills through Court Internship for Law Students’. The keynote speakers for the session were Principal, School of Law – Prof. (Dr.) Arun Gupta and Vice-Principal, School of Law – Prof. (Dr.) Hemlata Sharama.

14. Ideal Law Society on 14th March, 2023 organized a Seminar to Commemorate International Women’s Day. Dr. Archana Sinha, Former Additional District and Sessions Judge graced the event as its Keynote Speaker.

15. Ideal Law Society organized a Workshop on the topic ‘Legal Research on SCC Online’ on 6th April, 2023. The spokesperson for the event was Mr. Rajesh Raina, Deputy Manager, Learning Centre.

16. On 12th and 13th April, 2023 the Ideal Moot Court Society organized an Intra-Moot Court Competition on a problem based upon Acid Attack. The Semi-Final Round was judged by Mr. Manu Gupta and Ms. Sangita Rani Jain, LACs, DLSA, and the Final Round was adjudged by Mr. Pranat Kumar Joshi and Mr. Vinik Jain, Ld. Secretaries, DLSA.

17. Law Training and Placement Cell, IIMT organized a Career Counselling Session on 17th April, 2023 on the topic ‘Tips and Tricks for Preparation of Judiciary’. Mr. Anurag Singh, Senior Faculty Member, Pahuja Law Academy graced the event as its spokesperson.

18. IPR Cell, IIMT and BBA (1st Shift) on 26th April, 2023 Commemorated Intellectual Property Rights Day on the topic ‘Intellectual Property and Patent Laws’. Dr. Suman Madan, Associate Professor, JIMS (Rohini) and Innovation Ambassador – IPR graced the event as its keynote speaker.

19. A visit to Karkardooma Court was organized by the Legal Aid Clinic, IIMT in association with DLSA (Shahadara) on 28th April, 2023.
