About NAAC:

excellence of academic programmes offered) of higher education. The National
Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) An Autonomous Institution of
University Grants Commission (UGC) has been set up to facilitate the
volunteering institutions to assess their performance to set parameters through
introspection. The Accreditation enhances

well-coordinated & systematised inspectional process.
- Identification of internal areas of planning and resource allocation

IIMT is dedicated, devoted & committed for NAAC Accreditation and in
pursuance of its Action, assessment and accreditation and quality up-gradation
of institutions of higher education. The NAAC, Bangalore, proposes that every
accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell
(IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure. Since quality
enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC has become a part of the
institution’s system and works towards realisation of the goals of quality
enhancement and sustenance. The first and foremost task of the IQAC is to
develop a system for excellence, creativity, innovation, knowledge and
professional performance of institutions.
Objective:
The primary aim of IQAC is:
- To be dedicated, committed & devoted and to be an academic institution
with relevant, accurate, timely, punctual, approachable and distinct
qualities in students and teachers of IIMT.
- To develop a sense of achievement for excellence in perception &
personality.
- To develop an attitude for excellence in environment & education.
- To develop a realistic idea for excellent legal management and leadership
qualities in teachers and taught.

- Preparing and training staff, security and students for the work of IQAC
as per NAAC Guidelines.
