The celebration of the Annual day is important for an educational institution because it is an occasion to reward the hardworking students for academic excellence and also to award the faculty members for exhibiting exemplary dedication in teaching and research. It is also a platform for the students to showcase their talent on stage through cultural performances. This year the theme was, “Zameen se Aasmaan tak….Jai Ho”. The function was organised at Shah Auditorium , Civil Lines, Delhi. The Chief Guest for the function was Padam shri Prof.(Dr.) Mahesh Verma, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, , Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. The Guests of Honour gracing the event with their presence were, Prof.(Dr.) D.K.Bandhyopadhyay , Former Vice Chancellor, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi , Shri Surendra Chaudhary(IPS), DCP, Shahdara District, Delhi Police and Acharaya (Dr.) Rajesh Ojha, Renowned Astrologer and Vaastu Consultant . The function was presided over by Dr. Narendra Nath, Former Minister, Govt. of NCT, Delhi.
